My aim was to construct a personal vehicle and goods-transporter, which can replace your car (if you have any) when you go to work or do the daily shopping. It is suitable in downtown and rural circumstances as well as in Third World conditions. My invention - named eSCART - can be used as a goods transporting e-scooter or a bicycle trailer equipped with an electric engine or as a simple, electric-driven hand trolley as well. The 2-position handle-bar with its ergonomic construction makes it possible to shift between functions immediately without any loss of tri-functionality. For example it is easy to transform it from an e-scooter into a hand trolley without having to stop. Or it can be made from a bicycle trailer into a goods transporter with a single click. The esthetic glove compartment can be used to carry your map or your mobile phone while it is charged continuously. Due to its high electrical efficiency (it recharges the batteries while braking on a slope) and its low energy consumption (120-150 W, max. 280 W) the batteries of the eSCART can be recharged even with solar photovoltaic elements or fossil energy (4 cents/30 km daily).
